Hello dessert full of wonderful things. I’m not sure why I haven’t made this sooner. It’s SO easy and for me, you can’t go wrong with Oreos, chocolate and cream topped with more Oreos.
Go for it!
Serves: 8-10
For the base:
220g of Oreos – crushed
55g of butter – melted
The filling:
5-6 dessert spoons of chocolate spread – melted slighly as it’ll be easier to spread
225ml of double cream
300g full fat cream cheese
50g dark chocolate – melted
55g of Oreos – crushed
To decorate:
4 Oreos – halved and placed around the edge
Method:
1) Make the base first but crushing the biscuits and melting the butter. Combine and then press the mixture in to a loose bottomed tin. Chill for about 30 minutes
2) Melt the chocolate spread slightly before spreading evenly over the biscuit base. Chill again
3) Now the filling. Whip the cream then beat in the cream cheese. Crush the biscuits and add, stir to evenly distribute then add the melted chocolate and stir again
4) Spoon the cream mixture over the base. Using a knife or spoon to level it out.
5) Chill for at least 2 hours before decorating and serving.
YUM!
